During the European Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship project, Katarzyna Wasielewska was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Research Centre for Information and Communications Technologies (CITIC), University of Granada, Spain. She is from Poland, where she is an Assistant Professor with the Institute of Applied Informatics at the University of Applied Sciences in Elbląg. Her current research interests include network security, network traffic analysis, multivariate data analysis, machine learning. She is an IEEE Senior Member, IEEE volunteer, and IEEE Elblag Student Branch Counselor. In 2020-2022, she was the IEEE Women in Engineering Poland Section Chair. She is a N2Women member. She has 10 years of experience as an ISP network administrator.
